Hi everyone!
In this post, I would like to show you all the steps required, from the moment you get your company license to having the residency visa stamped in your passport.
Step 1:
Company Formation: Timeline: 3-5 working days
Documents Required: Passport Copy, Visa/Entry Stamp Copy, Passport Photo, Company Application Form.
Step 2:
E-Channel / Establishment card: 2-3 working days – CAN BE STARTED WITH CUSTOMER OUTSIDE UAE
E-Visa+ Status change: Timeline: 3-4 working days. REQUIRES CUSTOMER TO BE IN UAE (rule may change anyday)
Validity: 60 days
Documents Required: Passport Copy, Visa/Entry Stamp Copy, Passport Photo, Visa Application Form
Step 3:
Medical & Emirates ID
Timeline (Standard): 2 days for medical result. (EID will be shipped within 3 weeks)
Documents Required: Original Passport, 2 Passport Photos, E-Visa, Trade License Copy.
NB. If first time EID applicant, they will require also fingerprints. Please proceed to fingerprints section right after doing medical and emirates ID application (they will require EID application copy)
Step 4:
Visa Stamping
Timeline: 3-4 Working Days
Documents Required: Original Passport, 2 Passport Photos, E-Visa, Medical Fitness Report (WITH ORIGINAL STAMP), Emirates ID application form.
Please note that residency visa is necessary to have a “detaxed” status and for opening personal and corporate bank accounts.
